Gtbank fx inflow: How to receive foreign currency inward transfer

With Gtbank International Money Transfer, you can send and receive foreign currencies Inward and from any subsidiary bank into GTBank customer domiciliary accounts. You can receive foreign currency inflows in USD, GBP and EUR. Other foreign currencies which must be converted to one of the three currencies.

GTBank account and non-account holders can walk into any of the branches to transfer and receive funds in Dollars to and from any of our subsidiaries in Nigeria, Ghana, Gambia and Sierra Leone.

Your Business associate, friends or family can now send you money from any location in the world either you receive the money in US Dollars (USD), Pounds (GBP), or Euro (EUR), but you need to open a domiciliary account to enable you receive the money.

Money Transfer is denominated in US Dollars with a maximum of $10,000.00 per transfer.receiver can be paid in US Dollars or local currency, Cedis, Dalasi, Leone and Naira (Beneficiaries can only be paid in local currency in Ghana).

Any amount in a foreign currency can be transferred to a GTBank customer from remitters in other banks both locally and offshore, for credit into the customer’s domiciliary account. The following information is required for successful application of transferred funds

1. Beneficiaries account number and name (As captured on BASIS)
2. The bank name (Guaranty Trust Bank)/ SWIFT code (GTBINGLA)
3. GTBank’s account number with correspondent bank.
4. correspondent banks name or SWIFT code.
