DU telecom in the United Arab Emirate has unveiled “Out of Credit” and “Zero Credit Call” A service which enables subscribers to borrow credit anytime as long as their line line is on for at least 3 months.
Prepaid customers can get mobile credit in advance when they run out of credit and pay back later. Their eligibility will be based on their usage – the more they use their line the more they’re eligible.
The borrowed Out of Credit fee will be deducted from their next recharge along with the borrowed amount. Customers should also use a minimum of AED 10 a month. Simply dial *108# whenever you’re out of credit and you’ll be credited with AED 5.
Once you are qualified, l dial *108#, AED 5 will be credited to your account that will be deducted from your next recharge with a fee of AED 1. (+ 5% VAT).
How to borrow Out of Credit from DU
You can Borrow Out of credit manually from DU when need arises by Dialing *108# and press 2 or SMS ‘5’ to 1080. Or Dial 1 when you try to make a call and hear the low balance prompt. and you’ll be credited with AED 5.
The DU Zero Credit
This a service designed for DU Prepaid customer who don’t have enough credit to Call , but they will be allowed to make a one 3-minute call to any local or international number and the cost of the service will be AED 1.50 (+5% VAT) for the call, which will then be deducted from their next recharge.
The Zero Credit service is only applicable to make one local or international call.
How to borrow from DU Zero Credit Call
To borrow zero credit calls from DU Simply hold the line when You hear an announcement about the service. Simply hold the line and the call will be connected after the beep. If you don’t want to proceed with the call you can simply hang up the phone.
Fees for DU zero credit call
The price of the service is AED 1.50 (+5% VAT) per call and the same will be deducted from your next recharge. The charges are independent of the call duration capped at 3 minutes. No charges will be deducted if the customer on the other side does not answer the call.

How to transfer credit to their friends and family on du
DU customers can easily transfer their credit to family and friends,their loved ones using du Pay as you Go or Visitor Mobile Lines. This service demonstrates du’s commitment to offer convenience to customers, and continually facilitate and optimize their mobility experience
There is no charge when customers transfer credit from their ‘more time’ account. A 15 percentage transaction fee is applicable when they transfer from their ‘more credit’ account. The transferred credit is always given in the ‘more time’ account of the recipient and is valid for life. Transfers can be done and received while roaming abroad as well
The service allows customers to transfer a minimum of AED 2 and a maximum of AED 200 per transaction.
Steps to transfer credit from DU
To transfer credit customers simply need to dial *121 *055xxxxxxx*amount #, which will then instantly transfer the credit to the payee. There are no charges for activation or subscribing to this service
