You can deposit any checks payable in U.S. dollars  on Wells Fargo Mobile App and ATM such as personal, business, and most government checks and drawn at any U.S .-based bank and it must be payable to, and endorsed by the account holder.

How to Deposit Wells Fargo Mobile check

Step 1. Mobile deposit is available through the Wells Fargo Mobile app. Before you can start a mobile check deposit, you need to download the Wells Fargo Mobile® app register and Sign on. If you already have our app, update it with the most recent version.

Step 2.Then Tap Deposit in the bottom bar.
Step 3. Select an account from the To drop down. where you want to deposit the check

Step 4.Enter the amount of your check: Make sure the amount entered matches the amount on your check, and select Done.

Step 5. Sign the back of your check and write “For Mobile Deposit at Wells Fargo Only” below your signature (or if available, check the box that reads: “Check here if mobile deposit”).

Step 6.Take a photo of the front and back of your endorsed check with your smartphone

Step 7. Finally, Tap submit to deposit your check.

Please, store your check for 5 days after your deposit, and then destroy it.

How to deposit paper check Wells Fargo ATM ?

 

When making a paper check deposit on Wells Fargo ATM follow the steps below:

1.Look for Wells Fargo ATM then insert your debit card where you want to deposit your money

2.Then  enter your PIN

3. Tap deposit simply insert your paper  checks and the ATM will have to scan your checks, count your bills, and totals them on screen. You can adjust your amounts, then request printed images of your checks on your receipt.

 

When will my money be available?

Your deposit receipt generally provides the detail of when the funds will be available to you, including funds that are immediately available, available the next business day, or funds subject to a deposit hold

Any check deposit on Wells Fargo ATM OR Mobile App on a business day before 9 pm PT, money will generally be available the next day. If a customer deposits after 9 pm PT or on a weekend or holiday, we’ll process the deposit on the next business day and your money will generally be available the day after that.
